What kind of conditions does a psychiatrist treat?

Our psychiatrists can treat individuals with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, eating disorders, and some types of behavioral problems, such as those involving self-destructive or violent impulses.

What Is a Controlled Substance?

A controlled substance is a drug or other substance, including opioids, benzodiazepines, stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, and anabolic steroids, that is tightly controlled by the government since it may be abused or cause addiction. Our policy is to strictly abide by the government rules and since our services are entirely remote, monitoring of controlled substance prescriptions will be very challenging and therefore will be extremely limited and/or eliminated altogether.
